Projector
Projector is a generative sound and text installation. It is part of our ongoing work with sound effects.
In this piece, the sounds of various types of projectors (film, video, etc.) are juxtaposed against various types of clicking and cocking sounds which guns make. The sounds are played back through a small black speaker against one wall. The piece’s namesake, a projector, is mounted on a low pedestal, from which it projects the titles of the sounds onto the wall over the small black speaker.
